Girls Talk London connects young girls and women with senior women and men in various professions through informal events, programmes, an interactive website and online TV channel. Our aim is to increase the number of young girls and women entering competitive industries & to ensure they are equipped with advice and the skills to progress into senior roles within their chosen professions.
We have personally connected 800 young girls and women with 70 men and women from 34 FTSE 100 businesses through our events, digital content, consultancy and bespoke programmes.
We host regular events that include Q & A Panel discussions, seminars, networking luncheons and festivals for young girls aged 14-25 and professional women. At our events our attendees are able to develop new skills, speak to Senior women and men who work for FTSE 100 businesses and gain encouragement and inspiration to pursue a career in male dominated sectors or a board level position.
Previous venues have included St. Paul’s Cathedral and The Houses of Parliament with past speakers such as Diane Abbott MP, Former CEO of vInspired, COO of Tindall Riley, Liz Bingham OBE, Global Head of Compliance at HSBC, General Manager of Parlophone and Warner Music, Grammy award-winning producer of Adele’s 21 Album and many more. We work cross industry in sectors such as financial services, technology, music, engineering, science, law and media.
We develop and deliver a range of programmes with our corporate partners that allow young girls and women to gain access into sectors and are equipped with advice and key skills. These programmes help our aim of increasing the number of females entering male dominated sectors.
We have various step into industry programmes and internal ladder programmes to help young girls and female staff progress into Senior roles and Summer Business schools for young girls and professional women
We produce in-house digital content targeted at young women aged 16-34 through our website, weekly newsletters, podcasts and online talk show and TV Channel.
Consultancy and Recruitment
We work closely with many FTSE 350 businesses, large organisations and educational institutions (schools, colleges and universities) to advise them on how they can engage, support and attract female talent into careers that are typically male dominated and competitive. We have over 1,000 young women (students and professionals) who have registered with our organisation on our database. We have helped businesses recruit top female talent into their workforce who are school leavers, graduates or experienced professionals.
