  • Sky host their first ever Hackathon!

    Fri 26 Jan 2018 @ 9am

    Osterley & Leeds

Sky are holding their first ever Hackathon on 26th January 2018!

The Hackathon will be taking place between 9am and 6pm across two locations – Osterley and Leeds – with live reporting across their social media channels. And they want you and your friends to attend!

The one-day event will give university and college student teams the opportunity to compete in a software design challenge. Within a team of 3-6 members, you’ll need to come up with a product idea that could be used by Sky, and develop it throughout the day.

At the end you’ll showcase your demos to a panel of Sky experts, who will decide on the winning team. The best part? You will have the opportunity to take part in tours of Sky HQ, including their studios, and have the chance to win a NOW TV box if you win the challenge.

Boost your application by attending this insight day at Sky and develop your coding skills! If you stand out, you may even be fast-tracked into assessment centre for the software engineering graduate roles.

Their Software Academy graduate programmes for testers and developers are currently live- take a look at their website and come prepared for questions. They’ll  be on hand to have one-to-one talks and give coding advice throughout the day.

Applications close on 23rd January 2018- apply now at https://targetfeedback.gtisolutions.co.uk/surveys/sky/hackathon
