Product Manager – VISA
Visa is hiring for the position of Product Manager and this role would specifically focus on Discovery, Product Development & Delivery and Product Rollout & Roadmap Management.
QUALIFICATIONS
Basic Qualifications:
➢ 8-12 years of work experience with a bachelor’s degree or at least 6-8 years of experience with an advanced degree (e.g., Masters/MBA/JD/MD)
➢ 6 years of product development and management experience
Preferred Qualifications:
WHAT
Deep knowledge in consumer, business and merchant banking and according payments flows and systems. Visa and retail payment industry knowledge as well as P2P, B2C and B2B market experience is a plus, but not required;
Fintech and/or commercial cross border payments experience preferred.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong focus on clients
Demonstrated thought leadership and the aptitude to think creatively and identify new ways to innovate and differentiate products
Lead complex projects and processes with multiple senior stakeholders
Drive projects in collaboration with product owners and leaders of all levels
Superior analytical and problem-solving skills to synthesize and communicate complex information effectively
Individual works autonomously with ongoing supervision from manager and leadership
Be the voice of the customer needs and demonstrate customer empathy in design and build process. Translate identified needs into product goals and features
Set the vision, strategy, defines success (e.g., OKRs), makes decisions around prioritization for releases and roadmap for the next 3-5 years
Passionate about what you do and fired up about the opportunity to transform payments working for the industry leader
HOW
Self-starter with a bias toward action and a proven track record for successfully conceptualizing and driving the build and delivery of technology products that delight customers
Strong empathy for customers and understanding of value drivers in recurring revenue business models
Possess a high level of professionalism and leadership skills to build business relationships, trust and respect with business partners and suppliers
Strong team player, self-motivated and the ability to work independently at coordinating cross-functional activities, obtain buy-in and elevate issues at critical junctures appropriately
Excellent communication skills, including verbal, written and presentation necessary
Active listening skills required
Strong sense of urgency and experience driving to successful build and pragmatic product road maps
Strong collaboration and influence skills to effectively lead cross-functional teams to drive deliverables, projects, and engagements to completion
