Black Girls Tech Summit
The Black Girls Tech Summit is the world’s largest event for Black women in Technology connecting over 6000 Black women from 37+ countries with leading Tech recruiters such as Meta, Snap Inc, Zalando, Goldman Sachs, LinkedIn, Pwc, BT & HSBC UK.
For 2022, the Black Girls Tech Summit came back, bigger and taking over Berlin, London and the World in October and November welcoming over 3100 registrants!
In its fifth year the summit returns in 2023 with corporate partners to connect Black Female talent with opportunities in the Technology sector across multiple days of in person and virtual meet-ups, community building, networking, keynotes, panels and wellness, self development break out sessions + much more.
The summit aims to address the lack of representation of Black women in Technology which is at less than 2% globally. Previous attendees of the summit have secured jobs and opportunities at sponsoring businesses such as BT Group, Goldman Sachs, Snap Inc, Zalando + more.

Step UP
Our Step Up program is a six-month program for 100 female students in their penultimate year of university in the UK, Germany, Ghana, Singapore and India who want to secure a full time job after graduation . Step Up gives our participants access to mentorship, skills development training and careers events at sponsoring businesses; BT Group, Virgin Media O2 and Vodafone. The aim of the program is to connect participants to jobs and opportunities within our partners. Alumnae have gone on to secure jobs within sponsoring businesses.

Black Girls in Finance Summit
The Black Girls in Finance Summit will launch on the 20th and 21st September 2023 in London and virtually to connect Black women from our global and London community with the world’s leading financial services companies. The aim of the summit is to address the under-representation of Black women in the sector which is at 9.4% in the U.S and 0.5% of dealmakers in the UK.
The summit will take place across two days with an in person (London) and virtual meet-up, community building, networking, keynotes, panels and wellness, self development break out sessions + much more.

Step into STEM
Girls Talk Corporation designed and delivered Step into STEM from (2016-2020) an award winning seven-month mentoring programme for female students in London in the first year of sixth form who study S.T.E.M (Science, technology, engineering and maths) subjects and want to work in Technology.
The programme was funded by O2, BT, Vodafone and Ericsson and has provided mentors for 186 girls. A majority of our alumnae are now studying S.T.E.M subjects at global institutions such as MIT in the United States and the University of Oxford. After completing the programme a significant number have taken on school leaver and apprenticeship roles at businesses, which include BT, Vodafone, Virgin Media O2, Cisco and Deloitte.
