Welcome to Girls Talk London!

Our brand new blog based website is finally here! I would like to personally welcome you to the Girls Talk London website. We are a new organisation birthed last January 2013 to help connect young women with senior women in many different competitive industries. We have mainly done this through live events (previously hosted at The Houses of Parliament, Museum of London, Telefonica, Google and Wayra) where we have a panel of 5-6 women who come and talk to a group of about 70 young girls to talk informally about their careers and personal lives and answer questions from the audience about success and balancing work. It is always a great time for both our attendees and panellists as it is an escape from the stresses and hustle of life where everyone can get together with the girls and have a good old pick-me-up chat! We have been so lucky to have had some phenomenal women grace our panel such as the first black female Member of Parliament Diane Abbott, COO of Tindall Riley Samantha Peat, former CEO of vInspired Terry Ryall and many other women who work for businesses such as Cosmopolitan Magazine, Black Hair Magazine, Bauer Media, 02, Barclays, AIG, Elite Models London, Sky, BBC as well as entrepreneurs, singers & actresses. I can’t believe that in such a short space of time we have been able to connect over 450 young girls!

Today marks the start of the next chapter for Girls Talk London- online. Our aim is to provide the best tips and information to help YOU live the best life and have the best career. We will have lots of content which will hopefully help you excel and progress in your career, inspire you to take the plunge and go for your dreams, bring you the latest trends in beauty and fashion and provide you with food for your soul.

I hope that every time you visit our site you feel uplifted, inspired and encouraged to live a better and fulfilled life.

I truly believe that women should stick together and help each other grow and this site does just that.
