    Girls Talk Corporation partners with Amazon Ads & Entertainment to connect female talent to opportunities in technology

    “One of the largest global events for Black women in Technology!”

    May 2023 – Girls Talk, an award-winning organisation that develops products and services to connect businesses with female talent, has collaborated with Amazon Ads and Amazon Entertainment to host the London edition of the Black Girls Tech Summit, on November 14th2023. The Black Girls Tech Summit aims to connect Black women technologists in London, and globally, with colleagues in the industry. Amazon will also be sponsoring the global virtual Black Girls Tech Summit event taking place on November 15th and 16th 2023.

    Amazon Ads and Amazon Entertainment will also work with Girls Talk on career coaching and mentoring initiatives throughout the year to connect the community to professionals and mentors within tech at Amazon. Working together, Amazon Ads, Amazon Entertainment and Girls Talk hope to remove the barriers faced by women entering technology through showcasing opportunities available at Amazon to the Girls Talk community in the UK, Europe and emerging markets.

    As part of this strategic relationship, Amazon Ads and Amazon Entertainment will work closely with the Girls Talk EMEA Talent and Community team to offer tailored and equitable support for diverse talent to navigate the tech space,

    Created by award-winning gender equality organisation, Girls Talk Corporation the Black Girls Tech Summit has connected over 6000 Black women across 37 countries with role models and leading companies in technology to increase the representation of Black women in the sector which is at 0.7% in the UK and 3% in the US.

    Aspiring women and experienced professionals in Technology will be given the platform to get their foot in the door to access opportunities in the Technology sector, widen their professional network, connect with role models and upskill to ensure they can successfully secure jobs and opportunities in the sector.
