    May 5th: Use your vote

It’s a busy day tomorrow in the world of democracy, as all over the country people are voting in a range of elections, including the Scottish Parliament, Welsh Assembly, Northern Ireland Assembly, Mayor of London and London Assembly and the Police and crime commissioner. Our message is clear: use your vote.

You know those leaflets that have been coming through your letterbox for the past few weeks? Take ten minutes to read them. Then find your polling card (mine is, inexplicably, on top of the dart board…) and make the effort to go to your polling station and vote. Because however little you think your ‘X’ matters, it does matter.

For more advice on the elections happening tomorrow, take a look at the BBC’s guide.
