Morning Rush: 4 Steps to Insta-Beauty

We have all experienced the end-of-the-world-like panic when we look at our alarm clocks and we’ve overslept. I have to say, I experience this regularly! So I’m sharing my tips with you on how to get ready when you’ve overslept and only have minimal time before you have to leave!

    1

    1. Quickly jump in the shower and do a quick all-over wash. I like to use the Soap & Glory Sugar Crush Body Wash to make myself smell sweet and refreshed for the day ahead. In the shower I also wash my face using Philosophy Purity Made Simple One Step Facial Cleanser which takes only a few seconds to use and acts as a makeup remover (to get rid of the makeup from the night before oops!), cleanser, and toner and hydrates your skin! To make sure that you’re in the shower only very quickly why don’t you play some music but restrict your time in the shower to only one or two songs!

    1. No time for washing your hair! Instead try using a dry shampoo which is quick, easy and leaves your hair looking replenished and beautifully volumized! I like to use the Bastiste Blush- Floral & Flirty which also smells delicious!

    1. If there is no time for doing your usual makeup routine try using a tinted moisturiser or BB cream which moisturises your skin and acts like a light foundation at the same time; I especially like the Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector to hide any nasty blemishes or spots! I always use a bit of blush to add some colour (My favourite is Sleek blush in Rose Gold) and make myself look alive again! And also some mascara to make your eyes look more awake, I recommend Maybelline The Falsies Mascara! If you have any more time to spare, try using a white eyeliner on your waterline as this makes your eyes appear bigger and more awake, as if you didn’t even sleep over your alarm this morning! Try the GOSH Kohl eyeliner in white.
    1. Then pick out your outfit, grab some quick breakfast (I always eat the Belvita Milk and Cereal biscuits as keep you feeling energised for hours and are easy to eat on the go) and a drink and you’re ready to face the day!
